Decisions?
How do we as Christ-Followers make decisions? Should we go with our guts? Should we check our Horoscope? Write dear Abby? watch Dr. Phil? DVR Oprah? Is Dr. Laura the answer? Flip a coin? Draw straws? Consult a psychic? Look for signs in the cereal bowl? How should we decide what to do between two options that have pros and cons attached to them?
What do you do when faced with a tough decision?

This is something I think that most of us have a hard time doing. I know that most of the time I say what is in it for me? What will I get out of my decision? I try to remember to wait and listen to God, but not always! My own selfish desires take over and make it hard. I usaully procrastinate till the end to have to make my decision. Call it what you will, but I have fear in making a desision too early! Waiting for God to answer is best, but I think did I miss his answer? The last few weeks have been rough, and pastor Ron hit a few nails on the head for me this last week. Life is a battle, and I have to put on my breast plate of armor every day, to protect my heart!
ReplyDeleteI have tried all of the above and none has worked for me! I KNOW MY DECISION MAKER IS BROKEN. So now I rely on my network of men in the church and God! Weather or not I listen to the Wise counsel I recive is on me.I do know when I do listen the out come is GOOD
